Attorney Lawrence Obin II began his legal career in 2001 at the Office of the Public Defender, First Judicial Circuit, in Pensacola Florida. He represented numerous people charged with various felonies and misdemeanors and gained valuable trial experience. Lawrence was also a member of the post-verdict mitigation team on a notable death penalty case where the jury recommended against imposing the death penalty. In 2006, Lawrence joined Vernis & Bowling of Northwest Florida, P.A., a firm that defended insurance companies and their insureds against personal injury and property damage claims. In 2014, Lawrence accepted a position with a local Pensacola plaintiff’s firm to focus primarily on assisting persons injured in motor vehicle collisions. Lawrence joined Alexander Shunnarah & Associates as an attorney in 2016 and continues to assist people that are injured due to the careless and irresponsible actions of others. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
In addition to his practice, Lawrence is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and especially enjoys antique motorcycles. He has ridden over one hundred eighty thousand miles and is an active member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and the Northwest Florida Chapter of Harley Owners Group.
